The UBS Parade Spectacular, Presented by Stamford Town Center and The Advocate, comes to Stamford on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at 12 Noon.
Among the many balloons, The Lorax and Red from Fraggle Rock will make their debut this year.

Award winning marching bands will add pazzaz to the day. The Westhill and Stamford High School marching bands will march along with bands including Brentwood, Harrison, Norwalk, Trumbull, Uniondale High Schools and the NYPD Emerald Society Pipe & Drum Band and other marching bands from all over Connecticut and New York and the MarchFourth Marching Band all the way from Portland, OR. So, don’t let the parade pass you by, step off is at 12 Noon on November 18 in Stamford Downtown.
Stamford’s annual holiday balloon parade started nineteen years ago and has become one of the largest events of its kind in the country, with giant helium balloons floating through Stamford Downtown. Last year it drew over 100,000 people, not only Stamford residents, but also spectators from the surrounding region and even nearby states. The giant balloons, of course, are the showstoppers of our parade.
And don’t miss the Balloon Inflation Party sponsored by SAC Capital Advisors, LP on Saturday, November 17 from 3-6pm on Hoyt Street at Summer. Get a backstage look at the balloons as they come to life. Music, parade talent and costumed characters will greet and delight spectators.
So, don’t let the parade pass you by! The UBS Parade Spectacular starts on Summer and Hoyt Streets at 12 noon sharp. The Parade proceeds south on Summer, East on Broad, then South on Atlantic Street. It ends at Federal Street.
Come early for the best viewing seats. Many spectators find it worthwhile to bring their own folding chairs for more comfortable viewing.
