A “BE AWARE” and keep your families safe message came to me that an
unexpected visitor to your home with or without you there could end badly. See below.
There was an email that was just forwarded around for this area and just want to continue passing this along.
 Message said the following.
I just got a visit from the Bedford Police saying that there has been robberies in our area. The house across the street from me (not the Morello’s) was just hit today and another home on Appleby was hit, too. A preliminary description of the robbers: an African American man and African American woman with red hair. They will ring the bell and if no one answers they will try to break in. If someone does answer they will come up with some bogus reason for being at your doorstep and leave. The officer said it doesn’t seem like it’s a home invasion sort of thing at this time (thank goodness for that!). But we need to be vigilent and keep your doors locked. Pass this around to others in the neighborhood.
Lets make sure our neighborhood is safe for all and especially the children at this Holiday Season. So if you see something just not right, call the police.
