B’nai mitzvah students are being offered a chance to win a free bar or bat mitzvah at WeeZee World of “Yes I Can†in Chappaqua, NY, voted Westchester Magazine’s “Best of Westchester†for Best Party Place. The “Mitzvah at WeeZee†competition asks b’nai mitzvah candidates to submit a video essay explaining why they would be the best student to do their mitzvah project working with children on the autism spectrum at WeeZee World of “Yes I Can,†an 18,000 square foot sensory play space located in Chappaqua, NY.
The contestants will be judged on: message and appropriateness to theme, creativity and presentation. The five finalists will be notified by October 15, 2013 and names and videos will appear on WeeZee’s Facebook and YouTube pages and website. At that time, the public can vote for one readers’ choice winner from the five finalists and try to “sway†the opinions of WeeZee’s team of judges. The five finalists have the opportunity to increase their chances of winning by getting a high number of people to like their video on WeeZee’s Facebook and YouTube pages. The winner will have the highest combined scores from both social media and the judges.
