The Pound Ridge Elementary School (PRES) PTA Auction Committee is excited to announce the upcoming biennial PRES Auction and Fundraiser – Get Your Gatsby On!
This event will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Waveny House in nearby New Canaan, Connecticut.
This year’s event theme celebrates the Great Gatsby and the elegance of the 1920’s. As we share in an evening of glamour and glitz, we hope that it inspires a heightened sense of generosity to raise critical funds for the children of the PRES community.
This special evening is Pound Ridge Elementary School’s largest fundraising effort. The proceeds from this event will provide the PRES PTA with funds for many initiatives including:
- In-house arts and science enrichment programs
- Guest Author visits
- Community Garden program
- Field Trip transportation costs
- Faculty Stipends for extra classroom books and supplies
This evening promises to be an entertaining opportunity for the members of our school community to come together to support our children. Thanks to the fantastic generosity of parents, PRES faculty, staff and local businesses, our auction is filled with incredibly tempting items for you to win.
