The Bands

The Foresters – The Foresters consist of the three Nork brothers from Bethany Connecticut. Evan – (age 13) guitar and lead vocals, Hayden – (age 11) bass, vocals and Liam – (age 10) drums. The boys were inspired to form their own band after seeing a Green Day concert in 2010. The brothers had virtually no experience, but decided to use their own savings to purchase instruments. In nearly 3 years as a band, the boys have written well over 25 songs and have played in multiple venues around the state, in addition to a number of music festivals and an appearance on the pilot for the television show “Lifestyles Of The Young And Fabulous.” They’ve been recognized for their talent by local radio stations and websites who have featured their music, and they show no signs of slowing down. The Foresters are excited to announce that they are back in the studio recording songs for an upcoming album. Their debut album is available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon or at the-foresters.bandcamp.com!

Friends of Enemies – Friends of Enemies is a band founded in Fairfield County, by brothers DJ and Jeremy Calvar. Being their second band the duo decided to form a line up of guys who just wanted to express their musical creativity with a new sound. They picked up their cousin Jason and AJ and began to play shows all over the Northeast area. From countless shows at Toad¹s Place in New Haven, The Space in Hamden to the Meadowlands Expo Center in New Jersey, they have performed from Boston to New York. They appeared on two local TV shows on OUR LIVES and CT Style. The boys continue to spread their music every place they can get especially the internet. Aside from playing shows the brothers produce their own music and videos on YouTube. The two brothers have been fortunate enough to partner with YouTube and are working for a company called Fullscreen Inc. out of California. The company pays them to create content for their music channel and gaming channel. With a combined subscriber count of 6,000 and growing, FOE is making a name for themselves on YouTube and out in the music world.

Pacing Pluto – Pacing Pluto is a punk/alternative/rock ‘n roll band from Plainville Connecticut. They came together in the spring of 2010 and have continued playing since, despite changes in members and a short hiatus. Pacing Pluto has recently released two new songs that will be featured on their upcoming album. These songs can be previewed on their Facebook page, and keep on the lookout for the completed album, which will be available for free in the near future.

The Degrees – The Degrees are a band based out of Southern Connecticut, consisting of sibling members Robby and Jenny Schwartz, Chris Finelli, John Cocco, and Mike Aiardo. Robby serves as the group’s primary songwriter, influenced by everyone from Jason Mraz to Bruce Springsteen. All members of the group have extensive performance experience in many genres of performance, including Amity High School’s annual POPS concert. In addition to their specializations, many of the group’s members are skilled on other instruments as well, giving The Degrees a sound that is well rounded and sure to captivate their audiences.
