FLSBC’s next fundraiser will be a day-long bowling event at Grand Prix New York on Saturday, January 28, 2012. The Boosters will be the first group to occupy all of Grand Prix’s 19 brand-new lanes for a whole day. Â The euphonious Voodoo Carnival will provide the musical entertainment.
Proceeds from the event will fund two 2012 scholarships for senior athletes and support Fox Lane field renovations.
The event will include three sessions:
•A morning session for young bowlers and their parents, followed by a buffet lunch of chicken fingers, sliders, fries and drinks; •An afternoon session for middle- and high-school bowlers, including the buffet lunch; and •Two adult-only bowling sessions starting in the late-afternoon and continuing into the wee hours, including dinner, libations and a silent auction.
All participants will receive shirts (t-shirts for the kids and bowling shirts for the adults). Non-bowling adults are welcome to watch and join us for dinner.
