A Day in the Italian Renaissance – A special children’s workshop of Italian Renaissance that explains the Italian Renaissance history, talking about the painters, art, sculptures, explorers, music and theatre. From England’s Stonehenge to Africa’s ceremonial jewelry, to Guatemala’s national bird, put your imagination to work to create a cultural keepsake to take home. Around the World: Passport
Participate in our Around the World Program and get your passport stamped. All programs are free with museum admission, including the passports. So “All Aboard  the fun of discovery awaits!
Passport – World Traveler Program
Children who “visit†at least seven countries can register for our World Travelers’ Club and can attend our special “World Traveler” event in December 2013. The event will be a special breakfast on December 14 and will focus on traditional foods that reflect the year’s journey with particular emphasis on the cuisine for that ATW month – Italy.
Around the World: Bookshelf
Learn more about each country by browsing the bookshelf in the Family and Teacher Resource Center. Members are welcome to take books home for further reading. Two books can be checked out for a two week period.
