Heartsong, Inc. and UFC Gym White Plains Team Up for “Mixing Up the Arts†fundraiser event on November 16th
Heartsong, the premier art, dance and music therapy organization, is partnering with UFC Gym White Plains for a unique afternoon of fitness to benefit individuals with special needs. The organization will host the “Mixing Up the Arts†event at the gym located at 25 South Broadway, White Plains, NY on November 16th from 2 PM – 5 PM.
The event will feature a one-hour training circuit by UFC Gym including total resistance exercise (TRX) suspension training, cardio, weight training and kick-boxing. UFC Gym White Plains, one of the leading fitness destinations in Westchester, specializes in mixed martial arts such as Muay Thai and Jiu-Jitsu and intensive workouts that promote cardiovascular endurance.
Proceeds from this event will go towards funding Heartsong’s creative arts therapy programs. Since 1992, the organization’s committed staff of professional therapists and community volunteers has provided music, dance and art therapy to over 1,200 participants with special needs throughout the Tri-State area.
The festivities kick-off at 2 PM with music by DJ Cirone, food provided by Spoto’s restaurant in the Bronx, free t-shirts and raffle prizes such as one free Heartsong vacation break program, three Heartsong individual therapy sessions and one UFC Gym 1 Year membership.

Founded in 1992, Heartsong serves 150 individuals ages three to 22 including those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy and Down’s syndrome, with school and community-based arts and music therapy programs.
