It’s going to be a really fun night totally geared toward ladies — Bellydancing lessons, Cooking Demos, and Raffle prizes/Auction items (like designer handbags) are all part of the evenings events. Plus a whole lot more!
Even if you aren’t able to attend, there are other ways you can help…We are still looking for donations of raffle/auction items. For those of you who are local business owners this could be a great opportunity to promote your product or service to women in our community.
As you may know, SEPTO sponsors and supports the following awareness programs throughout the district for both the general education and special education student populations:
- Kids on the Block – a puppet show illustrating and explaining special needs that is presented to all 3rd grade students in the district.
- Open to the Challenge – a disability awareness program that demonstrates various disabilities to all 4th grade students in the district.
- Autism Awareness Assembly – an assembly run in conjunction with the middle school Autism Speaks Club that is presented to all 5th grade students in the district.
- Summer Magic – an afternoon summer recreational program for self-contained special needs children in the BCSD.
- BASS – an informational and support group for parents with children on the Autism Spectrum
