Mt. Pleasant Community Theatre, under the direction of Rose C. Norton, is as strong as ever, providing top-notch theater and entertainment for the whole family. This year‘s production will be dedicated in memory of Mr. Luca Cappelli, with sincere gratefulness for the family’s continuous support throughout all these years.
Tickets Available On-Line for First Time Mount Pleasant Community Theater (MPCT) has selected the cast of Fiddler on the Roof, the 43rd production by the local group since its founding in 1970.
The show, directed and choreographed by Rose Cremonese-Norton, will be presented on Aug. 2 through 4, 9 and 10 in the John Whearty Theater at Westlake High School, 825 Westlake Drive in Thornwood, NY. Friday and Saturday night performances are at 8 pm, Sunday matinee at 2 pm.
For the first time, tickets can be ordered on-line at www.mpctshows.com.  All seats are reserved. The two leading roles in the 40-plus member cast will be played by Tom Ammirato as Tevye the Dairyman and Chris Jamison as his wife Golde.
The Mt. Pleasant Community Theatre Association shall present and promote quality, live theatre in the Mt. Pleasant area to provide performance experiences for audiences, actors, and production personal. Youth shall be encouraged to participate in all theatrical experiences.
