This class covers what to do in a variety of emergencies. Topics include:
wounds/wound care
burns
head injuries
dental injuries
sprains/strains/contusions/dislocations/fractures (broken bones)
animal bites
insect stings
poisonings
allergic reactions
what NEEDS to be in your First Aid Kit (and HOW to USE it!)
and more
In addition to first aid & initial management, insight into the Emergency Room is also discussed: Questions about when to go (when NOT to go) to the ER, when to insist on a Plastic Surgeon for specific injuries, why certain tests are ordered, and many others are answered.
This class includes a comprehensive handout. Also available for purchase are prepared First-Aid kits with everything you would need to handle the injuries discussed above.
