Courtney Bombeck and Shawnee Knight have both lived in New Canaan for over ten years. Both are mothers to two boys and both love feeding others fabulous food. After training together with an expert in Molecular Gastronomy, they formed the Underground Supper Club, planning and executing meals mixing modern and traditional techniques, using locally sourced ingredients.
Courtney Bombeck has been cooking professionally for twenty years. She has worked for many kitchens, including Martha Stewart’s production studios where she cooked for then President Clinton. She has also styled food for Bonne Appetit Magazine.
Shawnee Knight was classically trained at the French Culinary Institute; now know as The International Culinary Center. She was recently featured in the top 40 contestants of the Master Chef television show on the Fox network.
