SOWE (Southern Westchester) Festivals is pleased to announce its third annual event: SOWE 2015 Music Festival, in Harbor Island Park, Mamaroneck, NY, Saturday, September 19, 2015.
The SOWE Music Festival, produced in association with 107.1 The Peak, features a lineup of top national and regional artists, performing on multiple stages, presenting a wide variety of world class rock, folk, alternate, and indie bands.
Artists scheduled to perform include: Felix Cavaliere’s Rascals, Marc Cohn, David Johansen, Shawn Mullins, Willie Nile, Cheerleaders, Steve Forbert, Andrew Belle, Anderson East, Joe D’urso & Stone Caravan, HeyDaze, Third Story, and East Love. The SOWE 2015 Music Festival will offer a variety of wine, beer, food trucks, and delicacies from around the world. As a station dedicated to “New York’s Backyardâ€, 107.1 The Peak is actively supporting emerging local artists with a new weekly feature, The 9:37 Local. Original acts are invited to submit music for the chance to hear it played and promoted on The Peak. In the weeks leading up to The SOWE 2015 Music Festival, artists featured on The 9:37 Local will also be invited to take part in an online “Battle of the Bands†to win a spot in the lineup at the Festival. This will be an added opportunity for promotion both for the sponsors, and the participating bands, with a strong presence on social media and The Peak’s website.
Join us as we present a parade of your favorite food trucks, beers, wines, activities, sponsors and media partners, both new and from previous festivals, including Houlihan Lawrence, Doral Arrowwood Hotel, Westchester Medical Center, Morgan Stanley, Whole Foods, Hometown Media Group, and many more. Captain Lawrence, named Best Craft Brewery in the Hudson Valley for 2014 by TAP New York, will be on hand for the third straight year.
