Hear from collage artists and curators as they talk about the work featured in the Katonah Museum of Art’s newest exhibition, Remix: Selections from the International Collage Center.
Remix has work created during the last 70 years by over 100 artists, including traditional forms of collage, as well as unexpected approaches in a range of media.
Exhibition these include collage and the incorporation of text, collage as a form of social and political commentary, collage that challenges scale to spectacular effect, and collage in the digital age.
Sunday, June 30: Learn about the many types of collage art in the Remix exhibition, with Pavel Zoubok and Rachael Lawe, curators from the International Collage Center.
Saturday, July 27: Meet collage artists Max Greis and Karen Shaw as they discuss their work with the Remix curators.
Saturday, October 5: Talk with collage artists Judy Pfaff, Michael Oatman, and Mario Naves during a conversational exhibition walk-through.
**Gallery talks are free with Museum admission: $10 general, $5 for seniors and students; members and children under 12 free.
