Weekly Dharma Gatherings purpose is to promote the teachings and meditation practices of the Kagyü and Nyingma lineages of Tibetan Buddhism.
The Center hosts open meetings every Wednesday 7-9 PM at the Bedford Presbyterian Church, 44 Village Green, Bedford, NY for meditation instruction and practice, dharma talk, tea and cookies social.
The meeting is open to anyone interested in Buddhist thought and practices.
There is no fee for these meetings but donations are accepted. The organizers and main teachers of the center were students of the Vidyadhara Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche. The center also hosts other teachers for programs of varying lengths at other times.
 Meet every Wednesday evening and Sunday morning.
The founders of the group and the principal teachers — John and Natalie Baker and Derek and Jane Kolleeny — are longtime students of the Tibetan teacher, Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche and study and teach in the Tibetan Karma Kagyü tradition of Vajrayana Buddhism. Guest teachers speak from time to time. Guests in the past have included Mingyur Rinpoche, Phakchok Rinpoche, Lama Chönam and Sangye Khandro, Acharya Judy Lief, Shastri Ethan Nichtern, Shibata Sensei, David Rome, Kunga Dawa, and others.
