A Taste of Westchester
Join us at several of Westchester’s most exciting restaurants for a culinary adventure that will tantalize your taste buds. Each chef will offer a private cooking demonstration, followed by a tasting of the prepared items. Fees include non-alcoholic beverages. New menu items are explored each semester. Menu substitutions may occur when necessary.

This interesting space set in the old train station will teach us the history of pasta, while enjoying a three course Italian Festa. Our host and owner Carla
Gambescia, foodie, and passionate Italiophile, will take us on a journey of pasta, followed by a unique seasonal gnocchi appetizer and our signature pastas:
strozzoprreti al pesto (strangled priest) and a pasta called brutti ma buoni (ugly but good), followed by a delicious salad. A cool end will be a delicioso scoop of “New York’s best gelato” along with unlimited tastes of all their many daily flavors and a history of gelato lesson. As a bonus: a how-to on Bellinis, a cocktail originated in Venice, a mixture of sparkling wine, traditionally prosecco, and peach purée.
