Winter Hike with the Pound Ridge Land Conservancy, Saturday Jan 19th

Join Tate Bushell, the Pound Ridge Land Conservancy’s Land Steward/Educator, on this family-friendly, educational walk through one of our most popular preserves: The Halle Ravine Preserve.  Tate will interpret the winter landscape and provide stories about the Halle Preserve’s plants and animal life – listen to the winter chatter of songbirds as they forage from tree to tree; see a stream wind its way through a deep ravine full of majestic hemlock trees; see evidence of animals as they cope with the difficulties of winter. Dress appropriately, no experience necessary.  10am-noon. Free.

Where: The Halle Ravine Preserve located on Trinity Pass Road, next to the intersection of Trinity Pass and Donbrook Road.  The preserve entrance is marked by a white wooden gate.

Date: Saturday, January 19th.

When: 10:00am-noon.  *Feel free to stay for only part of the hike.
